More from our Guests...
Thank you so much for the most generous gesture in relation to my stay in Ashford on Tuesday night. I was overwhelmed by it and cannot thank you enough.
Ashford is truly wonderful and it is so great to see it restored to its former glory. I had forgotten how beautiful the place is, the setting, the area, all it has to offer and what a wonderful asset it is to the region and to Ireland.
My parents, late husband and late grandparents (Lemass) all loved Ashford and it brought back a lot of very happy memories.
Your staff are a credit to you and the management of the Hotel, friendly, efficient, courteous and all with good humour and with the best of Irish personalities.
I would like to wish you and all at Ashford and the Lodge every continued success in the future and I cannot wait to return.
With kind regards,
Dear Ashford Castle,
Now that we are back in Dublin I am only now getting around to dropping you a note.
We had a wonderful time in the Castle last week. The service levels were just amazing from the warm welcome on arrival at the front gate right through to everyone we encountered during our stay.
Thank you very much for your assistance and your professionalism. It was an absolute pleasure for us to return to Ashford and look forward to returning again soon.
Regards and best wishes.

Dear Ms Kenny,
Our active American family visited this past summer en route to various destinations on the continent. It was a wonderful trip with many delights, but all three of our children have said over and over again, “Ashford Castle was the best part.” Putting aside the history, amenities, fabulous food, amazing town of Cong and stunningly beautiful location, a critical part of their experience was your staff. They are fantastic! I think of: all the concierge staff-Yvonne, Jennifer and Magdelana come to mind-that created wonderful outings for us and our busy children; the wonderful manager of the dining room who gave us the great idea of riding bikes through the woods over to Burke’s pub and the white island; the bellmen who were not flustered by invading bats, lashing picnic baskets to bikes or finding a husband caught up in fishing after midnight; the falconry staff who were so kind and helpful with our youngest daughter; the personable wait staff, such as the surfer who served us cocktails each afternoon; and even the drivers-Ivan and his brother-who transported us to and from the airport, then kindly mailed our son’s lost wallet home to the States! It is a funny thing when your children stand upon the Eiffel Tower and pine for Ireland. Please tell your fabulous staff: thank you, thank you, thank you! With warm regards,
Mr and Mrs J E and family
