Housekeeping Accommodation Supervisor

The Housekeeping department is looking for a Accomodation Supervisor to join the team. You should have a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills and an approachable and friendly personality.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the Accommodation Manager in ensuring that each guest is provided with the highest levels of housekeeping service in accordance with 5-star expectations and RCH/Leading hotels standards
  • To be familiar with each day's business regarding room occupancy, special requirements and VIP needs, ensuring that all accommodation staff are aware of the daily business and requirements
  • To ensure all staff are on duty as per their roster, monitoring work given to the team throughout the day to ensure tasks meet the defined standards. In the absence of the Executive Accommodation Manager, ensuring that there are adequate staffing levels to meet the daily business
  • To actively train all staff to the standards laid down in the SOP manual and monitor their work performance, taking corrective action where necessary
  • To support the team in a hands-on capacity as required in ensuring rooms are cleaned to the defined standard
  • To provide the guest, at all times, with the highest levels of guest care and personal attention, where possible anticipating the guests needs and initiating actions to exceed expectations where possible

The ideal candidate for the Accommodation Supervisor position will enjoy working within a friendly and productive team. This is a full time position, all candidates would need to be available to work five days a week between Monday and Sunday.

The ideal candidate for the Accommodation Supervisor position should:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year's accommodation supervisory experience within a 4 or preferably, 5 star hotel
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong team leadership skills
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage your workload effectively
  • Be enthusiastic & flexible (need to work 5 days over 7 day period, inclusive of some evenings and weekends)
  • Be legally eligible to work in Ireland
